Lepidolite has an unbelievably soothing lavender color and is striking against the argentium sterling setting. This oval stone is shaped with a high dome giving it a very "gemmy" look. This mineral gets its delicious color from the element manganese. The stone here contains a good amount of quartz which stabilizes the softer lepidolite. It is still on the soft side, so best not to wear often in water. Hung on a sterling cable chain.
