What is Plasma agate? Also known as Clear Creek plasma agate, this material is a unique, rare mineral mixture primarily found only in the Clear Creek Management Area of Central California.It's not a true agate, but rather a conglomerate of different minerals imbedded in agatized serpentine.These include cinnabar, chromium chalcedony, blue jadeite, and magnesite.The result is a material with distinctive green and blue colors and swirling patterns.
